If you own a cruiser, Harley, Suzuki, Honda, etc and like to cruise the back country roads or take long road trips their any many helmets to chose from.
You want a helmet with low wind drag, fits your head, and is comfortable. Generally these types of helmets are half shell helmets! This Helmet just covers the top of your head. Your ears are exposed and you can experience all the out side elements of your ride! This is good!
If you are a the type of rider that pulls a wheelie at one hundred miles an hour you should opt for a little more protection! A full face helmet is a must. I will protect your entire head! The face of the helmets is designed to absorb impact to protect your face! It also protects your ears from the piercing wind! Other types of riding apparel include leather vests, chaps, jackets or armored riding gear.
Leather is great protection and is great for cool weather! Armored riding gear is usually made from a durable material other than leather and lets the vest breath. This is better for hot riding conditions. For whatever you ride. Pick the right gear! You will enjoy the ride much more!
